Lifestyle Fashion Freestanding Store — Ginza

The concrete enclosure of this shop was pre-existing, and was accentuated to celebrate the prominence of this material in modern Japanese architecture. Plush rugs, cut in an orthodox shapes, pay homage to the shapes found in Ellsworth Kelly's prints. Cassina Utrecht armchairs upholstered in dusty pink both soften and elevate the space. Rich blue drapes intentionally limit visibility into the space, providing privacy and inciting curiosity in the passerby crowds of the busy Ginza district.
